Renovation of Girls’ toilet in Govt Hr Sec School, Malli, Ullurpatti
In a commendable effort to improve the condition of school infrastructure, OVOR has undertaken the renovation of the girls’ toilet in a government school. The facility, which had been in poor condition for quite some time, is now being transformed into a clean, safe, and usable space for the students.
Sanitation in schools is not just about convenience—it plays a vital role in promoting health, dignity, and uninterrupted education, especially for girl students. Many young girls, despite challenges, attend school regularly, showing their determination and commitment to learning.
This initiative by OVOR is a strong step towards providing equal opportunities and a comfortable environment for female students. It reinforces the belief that every child, irrespective of background, deserves a clean and respectful space to learn and grow.
The school’s headmistress had personally requested support for the renovation, and OVOR responded with dedication. Teachers and students have expressed heartfelt gratitude, and the community hopes that this positive action will inspire more such collaborations in the future.

- Toilet for Female students Refurbished in 2 Government schools: Govt Higher secondary School, Thailapuram & Govt Higher secondary School, Koomapatti
- Furniture for students (340 students total across multiple schools)
- 90 baby chairs, 3 Fans, 3 chairs for teachers donated to 3 Paalvadi / Anganwadi Schools
- Smart Digital Classroom setup in 7 Government schools
- Model School creation in 5 Schools
- Sports kits donated to 5 schools across Virudhunagar, Villupuram, Theni, and Ariyalur Districts

Our volunteer Mrs. Jothi is an excellent psychological counselor. She has been providing free counseling to various students and parents for the past 4 years. From identifying learning disabilities to guiding hyperactive children and supporting parents of children with special needs, her contribution has been immense.
